System architecture

Dynamic Fleet consists of one server installation and two clients.

The central server installation manages the data and runs the planning algorithm. It runs on a local Windows or Linux server (on premise). Dynamic Fleet also offers a cloud version (no installations required) - with a pay-as-you-go option

The central dispatcher uses the Dispatcher Client to manage and monitor the fleet. It is a web-based client built for desktop, running on Windows/OSx/Linux. The drivers use a Vehicle App client installed on their mobile devices to interact with the system and get route guidance. The HTML5 based vehicle app runs on iOS/Android/Windows smartphone or tablet devices.

The figure below depicts the architecture of the system and illustrates how the two clients communicate with a central server. The central server manages data and runs the real-time optimization algorithm.
